Actos (Pioglitazone) Uses
This medication is used to is used orally to treat type 2 diabetes. This medication helps controls type 2 diabetes but is not a cure. A combination of diet, weight management, exercise, and medications usually helps control this type of diabetes.

This medication decreases insulin resistance, helping the tissues to better utilize insulin produced by the pancreases.
