Coreg (Carvedilol) Uses
This medication is used to treat mild to moderate heart failure. This medication is also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension.)

How Coreg (Carvedilol) Works
This medication works by blocking two chemicals that constrict blood vessels and raise heart rate. This produces a relaxing or widening of blood vessels and lower heart rate and blood pressure.

How To Take Coreg (Carvedilol)
This medication is taken by mouth twice a day. This medication should be taken with food. You should take this medication regularly at the same times every day. Do not stop taking this medication without first consulting your doctor.

Coreg (Carvedilol) Possible Side Effects
This medication common side effects include fatigue, chest pain, edema, dizzyness, insomnia, and diarrhea. If you experience any other side effects, contact your healthcare professional.
