Evista (Raloxifene) Uses
This medication is used for post- menopausal women who either have osteoporosis or are at risk of developing osteoporosis.
How Evista (Raloxifene) Works
This medication works by decreasing bone loss. To achieve maximum benefits from this medication, supplement with calcium and vitamin D.
How To Take Evista (Raloxifene)
This medication is taken by mouth, usually once a day. Evista can be taken with or without food. You should take Evista regularly at the same time every day.
Evista (Raloxifene) Possible Side Effects
This medication is generally well-tolerated and side effects are usually mild. Common side effects include leg cramps and mild hot flashes. If you experience any other side effects, contact your healthcare professional.
