This medication works by relaxing smooth muscle around the bladder which increases urine flow.

How To Take Flomax (Tamsulosin)

This medication is taken by mouth, 39 minutes before the same meal each day. Swallow whole, do not crush or chew. This medication may take up to 1 week to fully work.
