Flonase (Fluticasone) Uses

This medication is a cortiscosterioid used for seasonal and perennial allergies (hay fever) and asthma.

How Flonase (Fluticasone) Works

This medication and other cortiscosterioids reduce the inflammation process, by suppressing the reaction of certain cells.

How To Take Flonase (Fluticasone)

This medication is generally used once daily. Shake container gently before each dose. For best results, this medication should be taken continuously, even if you start feeling better. Do not skip doses.

Possible Flonase Side Effects (Fluticasone)

This medication is generally well-tolerated and side effects are usually mild. Common side effects include bad smell or taste and nose bleeds. If you experience any other side effects, contact your healthcare professional.

Flonase (Fluticasone) Warnings and Precautions

Avoid anyone who has chicken pox or measles while taking this medicine. Patients who have compromised immune systems are at higher risk of infection.

Flonase (Fluticasone) Drug Interactions
