How To Take Lamictal (Lamotrigine)
Take this medication exactly as instructed by your doctor. Usually the dose will be slowly increased to the optimal dosage over several weeks. Space your doses evenly throughout the day to ensure a constant level of this medicine.

Lamictal (Lamotrigine) Possible Side Effects
This medication is generally well tolerated. The most common side effects are dizziness, headache, blurred or double vision, lack of coordination, sleepiness, nausea, vomiting, and rash. Notify your doctor promptly if you develop a rash while taking this medication.

Lamictal (Lamotrigine) Warnings and Precautions
While taking this medication, if you develop skin rash, hives, fever, swollen lymph glands, painful sores in the mouth or around the eyes, or swelling of lips or tongue, notify a doctor immediately. These could be signs of a serious reaction.

Use caution when driving or performing other tasks requring alertness or coordination, since this medication can impair your performance.
